🔥 What is Pitch a Mate?

It’s part comedy show, part singles mixer, part social experiment. Friends take the stage to pitch their single mates to a lively audience of fellow singles—while the crowd gets to vote, mingle, and maybe meet someone new 👀

Whether you're the pitcher, the pitched, or just here for the craic, this is Belfast’s most exciting dating event for young adults aged 22 to 35.

Each Pitch Team (one single legend + their wingman or wingwoman) gets 3–5 minutes to convince the crowd why their mate is a total catch.
📽️ A short presentation (PowerPoint or Canva) will be shown on screen to support the pitch — think funny facts, cute photos, and charming stories.

After all pitches are done, it’s time to mingle, dance, and maybe meet your match 💃🕺

Whether you're pitching or watching, you'll be part of Belfast’s most original dating and social night!

• Pitch Team Ticket (2 people): £20 + £2.38 Eventbrite fee = £22.38 total
• Audience Ticket (Single entry): £5 + small booking fee

All tickets include access to the full night: the pitches, social games, and afterparty fun.

• Positive vibes only. This is matchmaking, not a roast!
• Keep it clean. No dodgy images or cringe content.
• Stick to 3–5 minutes. Creative, fun, and respectful.
• Final slide = contact info. Include a photo, social media or number (whatever they’re comfy sharing). This will be looped during mingling.
• Respect pronouns and orientation. Help people connect clearly and kindly.

Info: The best way to connect with someone who was pitched is to catch them in person during the event—especially during our Single Mingle time. It's a relaxed break designed for exactly that: making connections.

Info: At the end of the night, the audience will vote for the Best Pitch. The winner gets a fun prize and major bragging rights. So bring the charm, bring the banter, and let the crowd decide who nailed it!
